Hi, I'm Amanda Mynhardt.
High performance coach, sports broadcaster and speaker
I'm a former Protea netball captain with over two decades of experience in the world of sports. I've been an elite player, a coach, a leader, a broadcaster and an administrator, but today, I use my experiences to help people overcome obstacles, set and achieve their goals, and tap into their inner potential.
MY STORY.
I've always been passionate about sports and have had the privilege of playing netball at the highest level, which included representing South Africa at both the World Cup and Commonwealth Games, where I also had the honour of captaining the national team. During this time, I realised the invaluable role of strong leadership within any system. While not everyone is born a leader, I firmly believe that by exposing potential leaders to challenging environments and equipping them with essential leadership skills, they have the potential to develop into strong leaders.

Netball is a science that continuously leads me on a path of discovery, finding new insights and strategies. As a coach, I share my discoveries with players, teams and other coaches. I am currently the Netball Director at Affies, the No. 1 netball school in South Africa. In my 8 years at the school, we've built a sustainable performance pathway for young players and continue to be a competitive force in school netball every year.
I've always been intrigued by the world of media, which is what led me to complete an Honours Degree in Corporate Communication Studies and Journalism. I've always known that the two worlds would meet someday, and it finally did when I started a career as a netball broadcaster. I still work as a freelance broadcaster as much as possible.
I believe that life is about sharing experiences. I find that motivational speaking gives me the platform to inspire people, give them hope and encourage them to continuously grow and improve themselves.

Amanda distinguishes herself as a coach with a pure heart.
She uses her particular technical knowledge and emotional intelligence to teach young players court-intelligence. In addition to the physical development and developing their potential, players walk away at the end of the season with confidence and precious life lessons learned.
She is comic and very creative, therefore challenging herself in a variety of fields and always reinventing herself.
Many champions have been through her hands, but she remains the biggest CHAMP.

Looking back at my netball career there've been a lot of ups and downs. There has been people that have shared in my journey and I can not help but think about coach Amanda. She gives netball new meaning.
Her impact on my life and other players will forever remain. She changed me for the better and influenced my view on humanity in so many ways. If there is one thing she continues to do, it will remain the fact that she can turn players into beter humans every day.
